Ax-les-Thermes: Guide



Ax-les-Thermes ist ein Ort an der Ariège (Fluss)|Ariège im Süden Frankreichs, nahe Andorra. Er ist der größte Ort im Canton d'Ax-les-Thermes im Arrondissement de Foix, Département Ariège (Département)|Ariège (09). Im Jahre 1999 zählte der Ort insgesamt 1441 Einwohner auf 30,26 km² Gemeindefläche. Ax-les-Thermes liegt auf einer Höhe von 720 m ü. Normalnull|NN.

Auf Grund seiner Lage in den Pyrenäen war der Ort bereits sieben Mal Ziel und sechs Mal Startpunkt einer Tour de France-Etappe; zuletzt bei der 12. Etappe der Tour de France 2001.
