Morzine: Guide
Morzine ist eine Gemeinde im Département Haute-Savoie in Frankreich. Die Gemeinde liegt an der Schweizer Grenze zum Kanton (Schweiz)|Kanton Kanton Wallis|Wallis, 32 km nördlich der Mont Blanc-Gemeinde Chamonix.
Durch die Alpen ist der Ort zusammen mit Avoriaz zum Touristenzentrum insbesondere für Wanderer, Mountainbiker, Golfer, Skifahrer und Höhlenforscher geworden.
Die Gemeinde selbst war häufig Durchgangsort und Zielort der Tour de France. In der Regel wird dann auch eine Bergwertung vorgenommen.
Der nächstgelegene Flughafen liegt im 60 Autominuten entfernten Genf.
