Alexandroupolis (, bis 1920 Dedeagats, , türkisch Dedeağaç) ist eine Griechenland|griechische Hafenstadt in Westthrakien.
Alexandroupolis ist die Verwaltungshauptstadt der Provinz Frieden von Neuilly vom 27. November 1919 musste Bulgarien die Stadt an die Entente abtreten, im Vertrag von Sèvres (Griechenland - Westthrakien)|Vertrag von Sèvres vom 10. August 1920 wurde die Stadt Griechenland zugesprochen und in Alexandroupolis - nach König Alexandros I. - umbenannt.
Alexandroupolis liegt an der Autobahn 2 (Griechenland)|Autobahn 2 (Europastraße 90) Istanbul-Thessaloniki-Ioannina bzw. der Nationalstraße 2 (Griechenland)|Nationalstraße 2. Die Nationalstraße 51 (Griechenland)|Nationalstraße 51 (nach Didimoteicho, Soufli, Orestiada) und Nationalstraße 53 (Griechenland)|Nationalstraße 53 (nach Ormenio) nehmen ihren Anfang in Alexandroupolis, die Europastraße 85 endet hier. Die Bahnstrecke Thessaloniki-Edirne ist unterbrochen, die Bahnstrecke Thessaloniki-Istanbul nicht. Es gibt einen nationalen Flughafen und im Hafen findet man Schiffsverbindungen nach Samothrake, Límnos und Rhodos.
Alexandroupolis ist mittlerweile eine der am stärksten aufstrebenden Städte in Griechenland.
Eines der Wahrzeichen ist der Leuchtturm der Stadt, der Fáros (griechische Sprache|griech. Φάρος) am Hafen.
