Fiuggi: Guide
Fiuggi ist eine Italien|italienische Stadt in der Region Latium mit 9186 Einwohnern (Stand am 30. Juni 2006).
Fiuggi liegt ca. 70 km östlich von Rom und ca. 35 km weit von Colleferro entfernt. Der mittelalterliche Stadtkern, Fiuggi Citta, liegt auf einem Hügel in 757 m Höhe. Südlich vorgelagert ist der neuere Stadtteil Fiuggi Fonte mit Brunnen, Parkanlagen und Kongressgebäuden. Im Jahr 1911 wurde die Stadt durch die Bonifatius-Heilquelle zum Kurort. Neben dem Heilwasser ist Fiuggi auch für seinen Weinanbau bekannt.
In der Vergangenheit war die Stadt mehrmals Etappenort des Giro d'Italia.
Seit 1986 ist Fiuggi eine Partnerstadt der Deutschland|deutschen Stadt Helmstedt.
