Vico Equense: Guide


Vico Equense ist eine Gemeinde in der Italien|italienischen Provinz Neapel, in der Region Kampanien. Die Einwohnerzahl beträgt 20.480 (Stand: 31. Mai 2005). Der Ort ist populärer Aufenthaltsort vieler Touristen, aufgrund der Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie beispielsweise zur antike Stadt Pompeji, zum Vesuv, und nach Neapel selbst.

Geographie


Vico Equense grenzt an folgende Gemeinden an: Castellammare di Stabia, Meta (Kampanien)|Meta, Piano di Sorrento, Pimonte, Positano|Positano (SA).

Der Ort Vico Equense liegt am Golf von Neapel und am Fuße der Gebirgskette Monti Lattari, deren höchster Gipfel Sant’Angela a Tre Pizzi eine Höhe von 1444 m.
