Präfektur Nara: Guide

Die Präfektur Nara (Region Kansai auf der Insel Honshū. Sitz der Präfekturverwaltung ist die gleichnamige Stadt Nara.

Geschichte


Vor der Meiji-Restauration war die Präfektur Nara auch als Yamato (Provinz)|Provinz Yamato bzw. Yamato no kuni bekannt.

Es gilt als sicher, dass Yamato in der Frühgeschichte Japans ein politisches Zentrum war und im 3. Jahrhundert|3. und 4. Jahrhundert am Fuße des Berges Miwa eine politische Macht herrschte, die einen großen Teil Japans vereinigte. Jedoch existieren nur wenige Dokumente aus dieser Zeit.
