Huesca: Guide



Huesca (spanischen Huesca (Provinz)|Provinz Huesca und befindet sich in der Autonome Region (Spanien)|Autonomen Region Aragón.

Sie hat 48.078 Einwohner (Stand: 1. Januar 2004) und ist somit die zweitgrößte Stadt in Aragón.

Bauwerke

Die gotische Kathedrale aus dem 13. Jh. mit Hochaltar. Hier mischen sich Einflüsse aus Gotik und Renaissance. Integriert ist das Diözesanmuseum.
Die Kirche San Pedro el Viejo|San Pedro el Viejo, romanischen Ursprungs mit Kreuzgang.

Jedes Jahr findet zu Ehren des Schutzheiligen Laurentius von Rom|San Lorenzo ein Fest statt. Außerdem war die Stadt der Geburtsort von Vinzenz von Valencia.

Rund 30 km entfernt befindet sich die Burg Loarre (Castillo de Loarre|Castillo de Loarre) mit einer wechselvollen Geschichte.
